The flour arrived. Big grins. Someone is finally making pizza dough tonight. This is my go to recipe for pizza dough. It’s easy if you can make sense of what I mean by folding instead of kneading. You need to make it a few days in advance so we’ll be eating the pizza later this week. I can’t wait.
The day was warm and lunch was in the garden. The cats seem a little freaked out that we don’t leave. The internet was also difficult today and I spent a lot of time on conference calls asking, “Can you hear me now? Can you hear me now?” Silence.
I sing and hum a lot in lockdown. Mostly oldies and songs from all school sing in elementary school. I have a lot of time to think. This part I like.
Farro flakes for breakfast. For lunch, sliced fennel cooked with anchovies and topped with pecorino and a tin of tuna with rosemary from Portugal. We still need to decide what kind of pasta to make for dinner. Gricia and carbonara are both in the running.
Eat well. Stay safe.
